Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree

9+ years of experience with Azure Cloud IAAS, PAAS services.

Azure Solutions Architect Professional Certification is Mandatory

Experience with DevOps Tools like GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes etc,

Good working experience with IaaS services like VMs (Virtual Machines), Load Balancer, Storage.

Good working experience with PaaS services like Web Apps, Azure SQL DB, Blob Storage, Traffic Manager, CDN, Azure Front Door, Key Vault.

Experience with deploying Web Apps using ARM Templates.

Experience with Auto-Scale options for App Services and VMs (VM Scale sets).

Good experience troubleshooting Errors/Exceptions – 4xx/5xx, HTTP Exceptions

Good experience working with Log Analytics and App Insights.

Configuration of alerts using Azure Monitor for resources at different levels and thresholds.

Experience on IAM (Identity and Access Management) and access privileges at different levels of account – Tenancy, Subscription, Resource Group

Good understanding of Networking Concepts – CIDR blocks, VNets, NSGs (Network Security Groups), Subnetting, Route tables, Firewalls, Gateways, DNS records, Name Servers etc.

Managing Azure SQL Database security and Monitoring Azure SQL Database.

Good exposure to Azure AD and office 365

Good experience on planning High-Availability and Disaster recovery setups. 

Experience of scheduling LTR backups/taking on-demand backups for Azure SQL DB.

Understanding of Service Discovery, Inter-Service Communication, Service Deployment and Service Orchestration frameworks

Deep understanding of Cloud Native and Microservices fundamentals.

Windows server environment including server deployment, migrations, upgrades, patch management, application support, virus remediation, debugging events, business continuity, operational and disaster recovery

Good to have experience in Microsoft .Net or any other programming languages

Experience in building native cloud applications

Experience in the configuration and deployment of web services

Experience in migrating enterprise applications to Azure Cloud.

Experience with REST, XML and JSON

Responsibilities include

Need to Closely work with Developers and Analysts to address project requirements. Able to effectively manage time and prioritize the work.

Need to work with Azure support to resolve critical issues.

Responsible for the development of architecture blueprints for related systems.

Responsible for recommendation on Cloud architecture strategies, processes and methodologies.

Need to Involve in design and implementation of best fit solution with respect to Azure and multi-cloud ecosystem.

Need to Handle go-live and cut over activities for migrations

Responsible for the design, setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all Windows Servers and related technologies in Azure

Create architecture diagrams, demonstrate Azure features

Should Have an advanced understanding of solution architecture and can apply this in the development of new solution architecture components

Timely creation of appropriate technical artefact, including solution design documents

Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business needs, and develop architecture, Design patterns and product roadmap.
