Generate Keys for API Access

An API Authentication Key provides access to all Unifyia APIs. It acts as a security token that authorizes you to call these APIs. To use the Unifyia APIs, you need to generate an API Key first.

Generate API Keys

To generate a fresh API Authentiation Key, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Unifyia portal. The Dashboard page opens.
  2. On the left side menu, navigate to Access Control > API Keys. The API Keys page appears.
  3. Select + GENERATE NEW KEY. The Enter application name pop-up appears.
  4. Enter the name of the application for which you are generating the API Keys.
  5. Select Generate.

You have successfully generated a new API Key. To view the key, select the slashed-eye icon on the API Keys page. You are now ready to utilize Unifyia APIs using this authorization key.

Manage API Keys

  1. Log in to the Unifyia portal. The Dashboard page opens.
  2. On the left side menu, navigate to Access Control > API Keys. The API Keys page appears.
  3. Disable API Key: Once created, the API key remains enabled by default. To disable the key, simply move the slider to the right.
  4. Delete API Key: To delete the API Key, select the cross icon. Select Yes to confirm or No to exit the process.
