Add and Manage SSO Applications

This tutorial provides guidance on adding and managing SAML/OIDC SSO applications.

Add SAML SSO Applications

  1. Follow the below steps to add a new application.
  2. Log into the platform with administrator credentials.
  3. Navigate to Integrations > SSO Applications.
  4. Select + Add Application. Select SAML from the dropdown to integrate an application using the SAML protocol.
  5. Provide the name for the application being added.
  6. Enter a brief description of this integration.
  7. Upload a logo for the application being integrated.
  8. To learn more about the configurable parameters for SSO SAML Configuration refer to the section Common Configurations – SSO SAML.
  9. Select Save to save the directory configuration.
  10. The SSO application is successfully added. You will notice that 3 tabs are enabled - User Groups, Keys, and Mappers.
  11. Navigate to the User Groups Select the group(s) allowed to access the application from the listed options.
  12. Navigate to the Keys Configure the Signing and Encryption Keys.
  13. Navigate to the Mappers Select the group(s) allowed to access the application from the listed options
  14. The configured SSO application users can access all the permitted apps and services with a single identity credential from the Unifyia platform.

Add OIDC SSO Applications

  1. Follow the below steps to add a new application.
  2. Log into the platform with administrator credentials.
  3. Navigate to Integrations > SSO Applications.
  4. Select + Add Application. Select OpenID Connect from the dropdown to integrate an application using the OIDC protocol.
  5. Provide the name for the application being added.
  6. Enter a brief description of this integration.
  7. Upload a logo for the application being integrated.
  8. To learn more about the configurable parameters for SSO OIDC Configuration refer to the section Common Configurations – SSO OIDC.
  9. Select Save to save the configuration.
  10. The SSO application is successfully added. You will notice that 3 tabs are enabled - User Groups, Client Credentials, and Mappers (Currently not supported).
  11. Navigate to the User Groups Select the group(s) allowed to access the application from the listed options.
  12. The configured SSO application users can access all the apps and services allowed to them with a single identity credential from the Unifyia platform.

Manage SSO Applications

  1. Log into the platform with administrator credentials.
  2. Navigate to Integrations > Applications.
  3. A list of configured applications is displayed.
  4. To edit an application, select the Pencil icon at the end of the selected application row and modify the configuration parameters as needed. Note that the Client ID field cannot be edited. Select Update to save the changes.
  5. To delete an application, select the Bin icon at the end of the selected application row. Select Yes to confirm or No to exit the process.
