Self Issuance of Credentials by Users

The Unifyia platform enables users to self-issue additional identities and credentials based on the configured workflow. The options for adding new identities are governed by the organization's issuance policy. Users must have access to the self-service portal to issue approved credentials. The workflows assigned to the user define the additional identities they are authorized to self-issue. The following are the types of identities that users can self-issue, subject to approval:

Task Description
Issue Derived PIV Credentials Self-issue a Derived PIV Credential (DPC/DPIV) by verifying an active PIV ID.
Issue Derived FIDO2 Credentials Self-issue a Derived FIDO2 Credential (DFC/DFIDO) by verifying an active PIV ID.
Issue Passkeys (FIDO2) Self-issue passkeys (FIDO2) on approved devices.
Issue Mobile Credentials Self-issue mobile credentials on the android or iOS mobile devices.
