Upload Content Signing Certificate
A content signing certificate is an issuer signing certificate and plays a critical role in ensuring the
integrity and authenticity of digital data written to either smart cards, security keys, or mobile
devices. Signing data with the content signing certificate helps in maintaining the integrity of the
information associated with the PIV cardholder.
This feature in the Unifyia platform helps organizations upload an issuer content signing certificate and
save it in the database. Whenever data is written to containers in the identity devices, the data is
signed using this certificate.
The content signing certificate feature in the platform allows you to do the following:
- Upload a content signing certificate
- Edit a content signing certificate
- Delete a content signing certificate
